Class 4 electrical insulated gloves

Arc flash or electrical shock is one of the most dangerous and costly hazards in the workplace nowadays. Most often, when there is an arc flash there is also a shock hazard, so dielectric protection when working on or near energized lines and equipment must be an integral component of the required personal protective equipment.

Soft and durable latex dielectric safety gloves offer personal hand protection for workers against electrical shocks when working near or on live wires, cables and electrical equipment including substation switchgear and transformers-risk assessment identifies electrical shock during the jointing of cables or excavating around live cables as a potential cause of accident which can be avoided when appropriate safety precautions wand gloves are worn.

Applications

The soft and durable latex dielectric safety gloves are widely used in electrical contractors, hybrid automotive repairs or manufacturing, industrial plant maintenance, power generation, HVAC Technicians, elevator industries, etc.

Remarks: Pls do the detection of electrical insulation performance every 6 months. Pls store it reasonably and keep it clean and dry, keep it away from oil, acid, base and other corrosive substances and keep away from sun and heat sources.

The International Standard is applicable to electrical insulating gloves and mitts that provide protection of worker against electric shock.

Unless otherwise stated, the use of the term "glove" includes both gloves and mitts.

Latex dielectric safety gloves safety use standard also covers electrical insulating gloves with additional integrated mechanical protection referred to in this document as “composite gloves”.

The products designed and manufactured according to this standard contribute to the safety of the users provided they are used by skilled persons, in accordance with safe methods of work and instructions for use.

Take care to choose the correct rubber insulating glove for the task at hand and level of electrical exposure. Rubber insulating gloves are available in six specific voltage classes (Class 00 – Class 4), and other rubber insulating products are available in different voltage classes as well.

Class 00: Class 00 Gloves provide protection up to 500V (AC) and 750V (DC) Max.

Class 0: Class 0 Gloves  provide protection up to 1000V (AC) and 1,500 (DC) Max.

Class 1: Class 1 Gloves provide protection up to 7,500V (AC) and 11,250 (DC) Max.

Class 2: Class 2 Gloves provide protection against high voltage up to 17,000V (AC) and 25,500V (DC) Max.

Class 3: Class 3 Gloves provide protection against high voltage up to 26,500V (AC) and 39,750V (DC) Max.

Class 4: Class 4 Gloves provide protection against high voltage up to 36,000V (AC) and 54,000 (DC) Max.
